Sydney Motorcycle Show 2008

Check out the video of the Sydney Motorcycle Show. This last weekend (November 22nd 2008) Phil Priest and I headed off to the Sydney Motorcycle Show, held at the Olympic Park in Sydney.

it was a good thing it was held inside due to the variable weather conditions happening around the place, sunny when we arrived, storming when we left.

Stacks of people were there, which shows that Motorcycling is growing everyday. The first thing I noticed when we came through the doors was the classic Honda Motorcycle display. Being a teenager of the 70’s it was the Wow factor. In that period, my motorcycle mentor Phil Hall had Honda CB 500 4, so, low and behold walking through the door here it was, a classic version, same color, sitting there in a fully restored condition.

From there it was around to see some the stunt riders doing stuff to bikes that  a seal a does with a ball at Sea World! Awesome. Here’s me making sure that I’ve always got two wheels on the deck!

From there we were absorbed into whole gig of looking at new Motorcycles, putting in the order with Santa for the latest bits and pieces, asking stacks of questions and looking what our next ride will be.

What was amazing was the roll up of Scooters,  the days of being in the back corner at the show have gone, now they take centre stage.

We’ve put together a presentation using Animoto that shows some highlights for us of the Show.
